WELCOME TO CO-OPERATIVE EDUCATION AT BLUEVALE!
Welcome to BCI Co-op and thank you for your participation in the program. We are incredibly appreciative of the opportunities that you, as a Co-op Employer & Supervisor, provide for our Bluevale students. We trust that this website provides you with the information and resources you need to feel supported. Please don't ever hesitate to contact your student's Co-op teacher with any comments, concerns or questions you may have. We hope that the Bluevale Co-op Experience is a very positive one for you, your co-op student, and your business or school!
The first link, 'First Days of Co-op FAQs', is designed to answer any initial questions you have as a potential Bluevale Co-op employer/supervisor and help you get your new student off to a good and safe start.
The second link, 'Facts for Co-op Supervisor', is thorough and will answer most questions you may have surrounding insurance, verifying student hours, emergencies, integration dates and Performance Appraisals.
The third link, 'Student Safety Workplace Orientation Assignment' must be completed by your student (with your guidance) before he/she begins tasks at your workplace.
This semester's Co-op calendar is also included and includes all student integration days, PA days, exit interview days, holidays as well as student assignment due dates.
The fourth item are instructions you may need in case you're having trouble or unsure of how to verify your student's hours that will be emailed to you via their 'Hour Republic Co-op Dashboard'.
Finally, in case you misplace your paper copy or need another, here is the Performance Appraisal you will be using to evaluate your student at the end of each term.
